lm after a Gebirgsjager Plain Khaki Reversible Parka [ not the Anorak ], size L but XL prefered.

Reasonable price paid.

Do you know who makes them ? I've never heard of such an item ( not to say they never existed ) .

Barry Lyndon of Spearhead Militaria on ebay used to do them, l have contacted him but apparently hes now sold out.

I'm sceptical that they ever existed , never seen an original , or picture of one , never seen the item in any books on GJ or their uniforms .

You may very well be correct Halle.

Rather than Khaki, maybe biege or tan would be a better description of the colour, which l believe was used in the Anorak.

Yes , I guessed you meant the " mushroom " colour of the Windbluse . However , I'm still not convinced this colour appeared on a winter Parka .

Hi Steve,
again, you may well be correct and the winter Parka may well never have appeared in this colour.

lm not wanting the Parka for reenactment, so historical accuracey isnt a concern.
