Fallschirmjager?

Post by GR916/15/14 »

Hallo,

I am looking into getting some Fallschirmjager kit to dress my mannequin in, to use when with the Luftwaffe Society and to join The Green Devils Of Carentan (I am trying to contact them, I know you out there you lot!)
I am quite confused looking at all these threads about Fallschirmjager kit for Normandie 1944 (I can't stand Tropical trousers!!)! What is best? Who is best for the following...

(M38?) Para Helmet (At the Front?)
(M34?) Luftwaffe Side Cap (Janke?)
Splinter 'B' Type Para Smock (ZM?)
Para Tunic (ZM?)
Para Boots (ZM?)
Para Jump Trousers ('Sturm' ZM)

This is what I think, am did not say the cheapest but the best quality! ZM Will be Pleased! Ha, ha!

All the best,
Nathan

Nathan

Everything on that list I would go to RAU apart from the smock and helmet. His Fliegers are good and badged up to go! Smock from either ZM or Barry Lyndon. ZM are the best but pricey... you pays your money....

With the Barry Lyndon Smock (if you get it!) buy the Dylon Number 34 Olive Green Wash & Dye + the Dylon Salt for washing machines and using just half of it in the machine. It just tones the glare down a wee bit!

With the helmet people suggest the Indian Made one.. not sure where to buy that though... others might!

Glück ab!

Hi Nathan

Got your email, haven't had time to get back to you. I'll send you a detailed kit list with suppliers from our members area (the kit list on the public site isn't that detailed).

Cheers Darren
