As far as I can garner, there are no audio recordings of Erwin Rommel. However, I have tracked down his original homeland-state of Baden-Württemberg, his hometown of Heidenheim is very close to the Bavarian Border, so my guess would either be an accent of that of someone from Baden-Württemberg, perhaps with slight Bavarian Corruption.

If you're clued up on your German dialect and regional accents then you should be fine, if not I'd seek out a German or German Teacher.

What about the 1942 Tobruk interview for example :wink:

Dont know where I put it, found it about 30 years ago,
try a google search Tobruk or Afrika Korps, I will try to locate it later.

just watched the history channel rommel program on there, with an interview with rommel. just what i was looking for.
