Very good to deal with, prompt and good stuff. Fast shipping (Normally, sometimes takes a couple days to ship). Resolves any issues quickly.

Be careful. Some of their stuff is rubbish and they do make mistakes which can take time to rectify.
Be sure you know your subject before ordering from them. That applies to any vendor though.
They do constantly improve their stock. The panzerfaust they now carry is way better than the old version they had.

Actually I want to know the quality of this http://www.zib-militaria.de/epages/6143 ... 90221-0003
Their photos are a real crap - I can't see the fabric neither how it fits or if it has a right cut.

This http://www.zib-militaria.de/epages/6143 ... 90239-0002 looks little bit strange. If it right?

Maybe some ordered any of above?
Or share what you got from them.

The uniforms they sell which don't say 'zib militaria' in the name (like your Panzer wrap) are from Sturm I believe, the others are their own range. I have an M41 tunic from their own range and really like it, but will be tailoring it to improve the cut, and the material at the back of the collar is too bright so may replace that. Another thing is the stitching on the button holes is also a bit too bright, but the wool quality is good.

Uniforms are quite acceptable there.

But the officer's cap...buy it somewhere else.

A nightmare to deal with. Refused to give me a tracking number 'because we cant', which is bullshit. They couldnt give me any package details because it wasnt sent for nearly 2 weeks after they said they had. They sell some ok stuff, and some shit. Be prepared to battle with them if you do order from them.

Thank you all.
Not quiet 'bout zib store...
Anybody know the difference
http://www.hessenantique.com/Panzer_Jac ... 111107.htm
http://www.hessenantique.com/Panzer_Tun ... 114100.htm
?

I guess the sturm's one is the same the zib got. Zib answered it is made 70% of wool. And 30% of what?! I supposed it should be 100% wool. Am I right?

Go for the first one, looks way better!

I got the impression sturm was 100% wool...don't notice otherwise. But in the pictures from Hessen...the other looks way better!

But Hessen charges a lot for shipping.

Zib sells the same crap that is the same wool/polyester blend as most vendors. If you want 100% you may have to pay more.

German wartime tunics were never 100% wool?

...about uniform materials (from another thopic):
Brigardefuhrer wrote:From Brian L Davis book "German Army Uniforms and Insignia",prior to 1935 uniforms were made from all wool cloth.in 1935 cloth was made from wool with five per cent rayon added (man made fibre),later this increased to twenty per cent and during the was rose as high as sixtyfive per cent,by 1943 about ninety per cent of cloth was made with wool waste.
Rayon is a very early man made fibre,in fact the shop I worked for in 1970 still stocked high waisted button fly trousers with turn ups (for the older gentleman) which were made from one hundred per cent Rayon, they used to crease up like dish rags but they were cheap.John
...bdw. I get same info from another resource... so 100% wool is not the fact! ;)

I own a number of original uniform items from all periods of the war and in my opinion the original fabric, although a wool/rayon blend, feels more like 100 percent wool than modern wool/polyester fabric. Rayon is a natural product made from cellulose and the original uniform wool does not have a synthetic feel.
