Just wanted to let you all know about the really great service I received from GMAX. The first smock he sent me he said I could wash, after doing so my smock "scuffed" . I notified him and he immediately took responsibility for the misinformation, posted a warning on his site not to wash the new material and immediately sent me a new smock (a larger one that fits better).Usually with a some vendors (my personal experience) you would have to go back and forth until you get the corrective action you desire but Rob was immediate with remedying the problem.
He also sent me some test material so I could wash it by hand with some dishwasher detergent to insure that the material would not get damaged (and it didn't....In the future if my smock gets realy dirty I will just hose it off and let it air dry).
It is a very well made smock with very nice RiRi zippers and snaps. I would strongly recommend Rob to any fellow reenactor.
Here are the photos of the new smock

Re: GMAX Service
Now that's great service, as you'd expect from GMAX
Hanging up my Knochensack for now, it's been a good war!

Quite a difference in the patterns!
