Met a Fallschirmjager Veteran Today

[Jager Roll]

I was at the Stuart event in Florida today and a met a Gentleman by the
name of Rupert Metzroth. Rupert served with the 4th Fallschirmjager
Division late in the war did his training at Verdun and was sent to
Italy where he was captured and spent the rest of the war in Ft.
Blanding Florida. Here is a picture of the two of us

I also got an autographed copy of his book of his wartime experience. I
have just looked at it briefly but it is a very good book with some
wartime photos of Rupert. If anyone is interested in getting a
