Dug up in Stalingrad (modern day Volgograd) in the Eastern Front. The letters read "1008 Stabsb Flak Ers Abt. 2" The tag shows much pitting and wear, but is a good collectable item.

Contempt is right! I and my comrades in the SBG find the sale of these disc halves distasteful.
A few years ago a waffen ss veteran asked us if rumours of graves being robbed in Russia and items being sold in the uk were true?.Regretfully we confirmed it was true(some had turned up at the old warnham market.)
