Reenactment group G.J.R.98

Post by Reibert »

Hello Bergkamerden, I'm from G.J.R.98 (Kiev, Ukraine), I'm glad that find yours forum and find adherent. Our group was created in 2003, we have at group 30 peoples. I wish to show to you some our photos.

In May 2009 we for four days have passed 75 km on mountains in Crimea from Bakhchisarai to Sevastopol where have then taken part in battle reconstruction for Sapun-mountain. Our route passed in real places of fights near Sevastopol in 1941/42 and 1944.

Very nice! I've been researching the Krim/1944 retreat for quite some time now. Does your group have any information pertaining to this action?

What exactly you interests? Some information is from Russian books, museums, memoirs. Here for example look photos since this, these are Gebirgsjaeger in Crimea and evacuation from Crimea in Konstantsiju.

amazing photos... can recognize some of Ukranian re-enactors. Really, reenactment in Ukraine is at the very high level!
