Great pics! the last pic looks almost like the type 1 SS camo smocks but in Italian 1929 pattern they look to have the draw string on the neck.

I have a thing for the off beat uniforms..I think they are snazzy! Awhile back (about 15 years ago!) i saw a period photo of a german wearing a oak pattern jump smock..Has anyone seen this before?

Apparently! a small amount of type 3 smocks were manufactured in Italian camo!

i dont doubt that at all , cant tell if its type II or type III in this pic ( tho i cant find it now ! )
