What’s your thoughts on Battlefield Archaeology for new topic(s) to the forum? I believe this would be a fascinating concept to explore if covering both world wars giving individuals an opportunity to showcase their relics & artefacts or inform users to past and present discoveries and the possibilities would be endless. Most of what lies beneath the waves surrounding these two islands has yet to be discovered not to mention what’s laying underground in Europe & beyond.
I’ve always enjoyed watching Tony & Phil on the TimeTeam especially when scouring battlefields and I think this would an interesting asset to the forum.
Ps: Don’t ask me to moderate this one, sorry I can’t help out as my dedication & time just isn’t there, too busy with family life 5 kids etc.

Re: Possible new subject matter
sounds good could link in well with the battlefield architecture section too, as there often found together e.g. trenchnworks, field fortifications located near burried bunkers, andmthe finds associated with such.

Re: Possible new subject matter
It has nothing to do really with reenactment, however if the interest is there, perhaps give it a go?
