I like the Lost Battalions smock. But I have seen the Gmax smocks and they are nice also.

In regards to the light tan dye you have used on the Sturm sumpfmuster smock, Do you have any photos of how it turned out and what brand type and how much of the dye did you use? Did it ruin the rest of the camo pattern on the jacket?

Thanks

hi!

I have sold my Sturm-smock some weeks ago, but I have bought a Lw-Tarnjacke in sumpfmuster.

I will make e few pics before, during and after the dying.

The camo was not ruined but the opposite. It looked better. I hope I will get the same color with this jacket.

In my opinion the Sturm sumpfmuster is the best pattern on the market, but the white inner side is shit (pardon  ).

Glück ab!

Maybe hand washing might be more user friendly and accurate? Machine washing kit is undoing all the fine work people have put into creating accurate repro's!

I know I put this in another post and there was some dispute over the size of the pattern but is'nt this (the new GMAX splinter B) relatively the same pattern as the new zeugmeisterei smocks?

As this new fabric is supposed to be splinter B then it should be similar to the zeugmeisterei splinter b fabric. however - the zeugmeisterei pattern is the correct size and thus repeats only twice on the length of a knochensack.
