Re: Marushin MP40
Hmmm ... I have the Marushin M16 PFC (sold as kit) gun and its a wonderful gun. Made of metal and with all the right stamps marks etc. If the MP40 is made with the same quality its well worth the money.
I had people with real M16s at home they did not recognize it as a repro.

Re: Marushin MP40
Sadly, the Marushin MP40 is made mostly of ABS plastic, though in the "veteran" (i.e. nicely aged) version it still looks quite smart. When it comes to reliability, Marushin gas SMG's haven't exactly got an enviable reputation - especially if you run them on anything more than 134a gas.
If you're looking for something thats actually usable, and will last a lot longer (plus, a damn sight cheaper to boot), then the AGM MP40 is a far better bet.

Re: Marushin MP40
Hi there
The AGM MP40 is superb if your looking for either airsoft or as a prop for re enacting only sad omission is any stamping but it certainly looks the part , is well made and a great price as a replica / prop . I have given mine an aged look by gently using a wire brush in a drill to take of some of the paint on edges etc where the paint would naturally wear and as mine was an early one a fake bakelite finish but if you want this look AGM offer this as standard now . It even makes a noise !!! , if thats what your after. ?
Best of luck , Jason

Re: Marushin MP40
I'm not! Got it today. Needs putting on full auto, the fire selector removing and the grip filling. Already had the folding stock to bits to put a big card washer in and reassemble the arms nice and tightly to stop the wobble. Worked a treat. Got 6 spare mags with it, which all feed superbly
