Mines can still be found there to day some even go up there to look for such items ,The German mines were laid mostly during the time they spent in Finland 1941 to 1944 as the total Ingo shows 77,000 is a lot to lay in in the short time the German army had to withdraw from Finland
also the fact is left out that both the Finnish and Russians laid mines
It is also stadard practice to booby trap your positions blow up bridgs and such
