Another Hello from Germany

Post by Gefr Schlottke »

Hello Comrades!

I'm Karsten and I come from Dresden in Germany.
I think, some of you( mainly the german ones) know me from german Forums, for the other ones I give you some points to my person:
I'm 26 years old and reenacting a Soldier of the Division Großdeutschland for 3years. Since beginning of this year I'm with an other comrade from Dresden in the German Großdeutschland-Reenactinggroup.
I have a wonderful and lovely girlfriend, who's supporting and understanding my hobby and sometimes, when she feels "good" she is wearing a DRK-Helferinnentracht (DRK-Nurse) on some little events.

I'm collecting militaria, civil things and pocket-litter of soldiers for decorating my flat and to fit my uniform better and better - mostly with original, just useable things.
So I hope for good conversations and a good time here.

best regards,
Karsten

Many thanks for the nice welcomes!

@ Steffen: Bist Du in einer Reenactmentgruppe dabei, oder eher Sammler und Einzelkämpfer?

@SchnellMeyer: Where have you been in germany in your holidays?
I think Germany has much very beautyful landscapes and I feel ashamed, that I just don't know all of my homecountry.
But the next holidays will all be in Germany find out all the nice places here.

To which groups do you have contact? Our Großdeutschland-group too? Maybe it is possible to take part in an event together? We will see.
Now the lasr, not the least, thanks, we will kepp up the good work, it's hard but it goes forwards.

(I hope, my english is understandable. I'm not in routine at the moment.)

comradely greetings,
Karsten

Hallo Karsten,

Steffen

Hi Karsten , this time I was in Koblenz where I have some friends . Then I went to visit two Ritterkreuztrager near Stuttgart and I finally finished up in Landsberg am Lech . My friend in Landsberg served in the 12 SS HJ Div and was a Kradmelder . You come from a very beautiful country , there are some wonderful old castles along the Rhein and of course Bavaria is in a world of its own .
Yes , I know men from the GD group in Germany plus some other groups also .I will send you a PM with more details . Feel free to PM me if you want .
