I was wondering if Jäger divisions used the Bergmütze as will as GJ units before the '43 cap was brought out? I have seen photos of the 99th. Light Inf. Div. useing them before they were turned into the 7th GJ division, and just don't know if this was a general practice or just for the 99th? I know the Jäger divisions were built like the GJ, but with more Artillery and vehicles. Any help would be great.
