Not quite, the type 14 Nambu which is the one i think your talking about wasn't to bad by Japanese standards
The worst pistol the Japanese had, so probaly the worst pistol ever was the type 94
this was the pistol which had the reputation for firing the round before it was fully chamberd which ment the gun blew apart in the firers hand, it also for some reason had a trigger which was wider than the trigger guard and an outside sear, which ment if you loaded it then stuck it in your holster you had to adopt a strange style of walking to try and prevent the gun from firing and taking your foot out
