since going to finland,

since watching a few finnish films, i am hooked on there winter war and later conflicts with the russians. Just remarkable of how such a small force opposed the russian onslaught.

i am very tempted to start a finnish impression over here :)

Gruss-gott kameraden :D

To quote the words of Sven-Hassel, which summed up the average Finnish Landser!

"The Finnish Soldier was feared like the Devil and loved like God!"

one of the things i loved about beyond the front was that everytime the main character took a picture , it showed the original picture that was taken by the vet when it was true.
