Re: AFRA
Hey I'm a fan - between computer issues and my own stupidity it's taken me two years to join the AFRA ranks but now I'm here I'm happy to wave a flag for the Allied side of AFRA as well. I've watched AFRA grow (from the sidelines) since 1998/9 and have been fascinated with it's progress. I always wo...

Re: gcr 2010
According to their site: 12/13 June

We'll be stopping off for a beer at the cafe on the way through - look out for British ski troops that look suspiciously like Afrika Korps (according to the public )

Re: K98 scope
Just a progress report: feet sawn off (ropey, rusted steel) and the mounts filed back to the body - I wanted flush but Andy decided it would be just rounded off. It was decided to use the no gunsmithing mounts that can be found on ebay with some 30mm weaver high mount rings with leather strip for bu...

Re: Nene valley ?
Just to reiterate what I've put on WWII Reenactor's - many thanks to Andy, Matt, Mark and everyone else who made us so welcome. Only problem, Tom is if your going for those farby Gerbirgs you'd better count the Lovat's in as well cos whatever farby stuff they're wearing, we'd normally wear too ... a...

http://www.alliedforum.net/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=2133 Apologies chaps, I should have posted something up sooner but I've been pre-occupied with a couple of things and rather fumbled the ball. It's on, it's running I think the railway have decided that any Axis are welcome to attend but as PW's - ...

Re: Mountaintroops photo shoot at the Roaches.
Some photos taken on the Roaches - we haven't got the action photos and I never did get Chris to do his mad knife weilding maniac sillhouetted against the skyline. Whatever you guys think of these, my thanks to Bill, Chris and Dave for turning up to the event andthanks for explaining all the kit. Pa...

Can't see any fastenings down the front but that may be due to my monitor. The guy standing its a wrap the guy kneeling looks l...
